A Golden Adoption and Fundraising Opportunity
It all started when we first posted a photo of our newest (at the time) ATR litter: owner-surrendered Golden Retriever* puppies. We posted and were immediately bombarded with adoption requests. We received an unprecedented number of calls and messages begging us to let them adopt – even if that meant for a higher adoption fee…
Ultimately, we decided it was in the best interest of ATR to raise their adoption fees. As such, the retriever puppies have a $1500 adoption fee in response to a significant increase in interested potential adopters.
Even with the adjusted fee, there has been no change to the large number of interested adopters. Several fosters are planning on adopting their foster pups, as well. This leaves just two adoptable pups from this litter (a boy and a girl), which is why we are introducing a lottery for the two adoption appointments we have left!
As a nonprofit rescue, this is a great fundraising opportunity that can only benefit the dogs we serve. The extra funds raised will allow us to save even more dogs. We understand this is different from what we normally do, but as a nonprofit, we have to take the fundraising opportunities we can get. This ensures that the important work we do at ATR can continue for years to come!
To enter this lottery, purchase ticket(s) below. Tickets must be purchased by noon on Wednesday, February 9th to be entered. We will do the drawing live on Instagram at 6:00 pm that same day! Appointments will be scheduled for the following day; we will work with the winners to accommodate their schedule. Lottery winners are still required to complete an adoption application and pay the full adoption fee.
*We were told that these puppies are purebred Golden Retrievers, but we never know for sure and aren’t guaranteeing that they are. We do know for sure that they are 100% ADORABLE!

Our Mission
To save mama dogs and their pups, provide care and enrichment, and find loving, forever homes.
ATR specializes in large-breed pregnant dogs and their pups who need time and space to grow and become socialized. Our dogs have significant social time with adults, children and other dogs, and we provide them with experiences that will help shape them into the very best pups they can be. Our mama dogs work with on site behaviorists to develop personalized programs to prepare them for life as your new forever family member. ATR is determined to give you all the information we know about our dogs so we can help find the perfect match for you. All of our dogs are altered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines prior to adoption.
ATR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and receives no tax or government funding. We do not sell, rent, or share our supporter information with any other organizations or third parties.
